Overview

The Boulevard Centre houses five air conditioned meeting rooms suitable for groups as small as 10 to large events up to 260 guests.  The entire venue can accommodate 400 guests in total.

Data projectors and PA systems are available in every room along with a range of radio microphones and other AV equipment.  The Boulevard is 100% accessible offering wheelchair accessible rooms, toilets, a lift and an infra-red hearing loop.

The common breakout area, The Gallery,  features our latest artist in residence,  is fully air conditioned and has a coffee station assigned to each room.

Oceanic Room

Ideal for:

  • small meetings
  • boardroom meetings

 

Configuration options:

  • workshop/open rounds style (20 people)
  • theatre style (30 people)
  • u-shape (12 people)

  • free wifi

*a data projector is available for hire at an additional cost, or you have the option to bring your own. Please ensure you bring any adaptors for connections that are not VGA or HDMI. Small speakers will be provided if sound is required.

Perry Lakes Room and Lake Monger Room
(combined they become 
The Lake Suite)

 

The Perry Lakes room and Lake Monger room are well proportioned carpeted spaces, both the same size. They can be hired as individual rooms, or can be combined to double the space (known as The Lake Suite).

 

Ideal for:

  • mid size functions, corporate training, meetings and events

 

Room facilities:

  • ceiling mounted data projectors and sound (VGA and HDMI connectivity)*
  • floor to ceiling white board which doubles as a data projector screen
  • air conditioning
  • free wifi

*a data projector is available for hire at an additional cost, or you have the option to bring your own. Please ensure you bring any adaptors for connections that are not VGA or HDMI.

Lakes Suite: 116

Perry Lakes: 50

Lake Monger: 50

 

Boulevard North and Boulevard South
(combined they become Boulevard Hall)

The Boulevard North and Boulevard South rooms are both similar in size with the north having the benefit of a stage. They are generously sized with sprung wooden flooring. They can be hired as individual rooms, or as one large, combined space (known as Boulevard Hall).

 

Ideal for:

  • workshops
  • conferences
  • trainings and presentations
  • networking events
  • fundraising events 
  • social club functions
  • weddings or parties

 

Configuration options per room (double the capacity for Boulevard Hall):

  • workshop style (72 people)
  • theatre style (130 people)

 

Room facilities:

  • ceiling mounted data projectors with sound (VGA connectivity)*
  • Boulevard North has a 300mm high stage (5.4m x 2.4m)
  • air conditioning

Catering

The Boulevard Centre welcomes you to have your function professionally catered.

You may engage your own caterer or self catering your function is permitted upon application. Please note that due to the pandemic Ozharvest have changed their food donation policy and will now only accept food that has not been laid out for consumption. We ask that you organise to take any leftovers home or donate it through your own channels. Thank you.  

Kitchen fees do apply.

Alcohol

The Boulevard Centre is not a licensed venue therefore BYO liquor may be permitted on application (conditions apply).

If alcohol is being sold at the function or is included in the price of an admittance ticket the following is to be undertaken:

An Occasional Licence must be obtained from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. A temporary or occasional liquor Licence application will be supported by the Town subject to the above conditions, which are deemed to have been accepted by the event co-ordinator on application for a Liquor Licence. 

For events at The Boulevard Centre the following directives must also be followed:

  • Hard liquors (ie spirits) are not accepted
  • Alcohol must be delivered to the venue one business day prior to the event for checking by staff

Staffing

The Boulevard Centre is a staffed venue. Events after business hours require a Duty Manager(s). Staff assist with the set-up, cleaning and service during your function and are itemised in the pricing.

Tailor your function

The Boulevard Centre offers you the opportunity to tailor your function to match your cultural needs and budget.

The centre is fully staffed and serviced, and offers free in-house technical support allowing you to focus on your event. We also offer you the flexibility to provide your own AV and catering (conditions and fees may apply).

Boulevard Centre bookings are now hosted on the Town’s third-party bookings website SpacetoCo. Upfront payment is required for bookings and payment must be made via credit card or via debit card. Further guidance is available at the following SpacetoCo Help Guide.
